1/2 cup hung curd

1 tablespoon turmeric

750 gram cubed chicken

1 tablespoon cumin

2 cinnamon stick

6 clove

1 large onion

2 small Potato

1 large tomato

2 tablespoon lime juice

2 tablespoon Madras curry powder

Salt as required

3 tablespoon mustard oil

2 bay Leaf

2 green Cardamom

2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon garlic

2 medium Carrot

1 cup cauliflower+

2 cup water

4 green Chili

How to make Chicken Stew with Appam:

Put the chicken pieces in a bowl and marinate them with hung curd. For 30 minutes, combine Madras curry powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix all the vegetables and set them aside. In deep pan, heat the oil and add cumin seeds. Add all the spices, ginger, onion and garlic and for 2 minutes sauté. Add a few drops of water, salt, and coriander leaves. Cook with the cover on till the chicken turns delicate. Blend in the green chilies thoroughly. Stew for another 5 minutes before turning off the heat. Mix in the lime juice once more.
